We have two self-catering properties at Airds, both built into the estate’s beautiful 300-year-old listed farm building. Both enjoy breathtaking views across the bay, private access down a grassy lane to the beach, and everything you need indoors for a cosy retreat after a day of adventuring.

Steading Cottage

The Steading Cottage has three bedrooms and three bathrooms set across two floors, surrounding an open-plan sitting room and kitchen. Ideal for 6 people, but comfortable for 7, the property is accessed from a pretty courtyard, opening into a generous boot room and laundry (essential for coming home from a day exploring) and on into the main reception area. A separate door leads out into the garden with its outdoor dining area and down onto the grassy lane towards the beach. Comfortable beds, luxury linen and roll-top baths make this the perfect retreat from your busy everyday life. Curl up with a book next to the wood burner, lie in bed watching the sea eagles soar above the trees, or put some music on and cook something delicious in our extremely well-equipped kitchen.

Coachman's Bothy

The Coachman’s Bothy is a self-contained loft with two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and sitting room with uninterrupted views across Airds Bay. Ideal for 4 people but comfortable for 5, the property is accessed from the pretty courtyard, via a private staircase. Decorated with wooden-panelling, natural materials and handwoven fabrics, the bothy feels like a secret hideaway – the perfect escape from city life. Outside, a designated garden area with a bench and barbecue sits at the top of the private grassy lane down to the beach. Enjoy the great outdoors before coming home to a cup of tea, some local shortbread, a hot bath and a cosy evening watching the sunset.
